Human Life Seen Through Metaphor
Since the Big Questions Cannot Be Answered in Prose
Of special interest to those going through life transitions and to those on a quest to understand life, Boulder songwriter/performer/poet Thomas Christopher will perform some of his best loved parlando songs about the inner experience of life.
Containing powerful lyrics, deep emotions, and novel insights, these songs explore the existential questions: Is life as meaningless as it sometimes feels? What does going through life transitions again and again mean for who we really are?
As a bonus, he will tell us how he achieved serenity for half a year.

From the song, “Like a Gem”
Like a gem, may you sparkle.
Like a gem, may you glow.
May you see all the necklace in the rays that each gem throws.
For the light we share among us is the only light we’ll know.
Like a gem may you wildly scatter rainbows.
